Replacement Educational Programs & Operations Levy

The replacement Educational Programs & Operations Levy is a four year levy that raises $2742 per enrolled student.  This generates about $11.4 million per year from 2023-2026. The levy will allow the district to collect up to $12 million in case amounts rise due to inflation or enrollment changes. This levy replaces an expiring levy. This levy was formerly called both "Management & Operations" and "Enrichment."

The EP&O Levy
  1. Represents 17% of the school district's total budget
  2. Represents 40% of the school district's special education budget (services required by FAPE protected)
  3. Funds school nurses at all the schools
  4. Funds a 7th period day at MIHS
  5. Provided for advanced science, math, 5th grade band, art, language, radio, destination imagination, and clubs
