The replacement Capital Projects and Technology Levy is a 6 year levy that raises $7.7 to $8.8 million per year from 2023-2028. This levy maintains our buildings and funding technology investments. This levy replaces an expiring levy. Capital Projects

Mary Wayte Pool refresh of locker rooms, pool deck, and viewing areas. Will be supported by a 1:1 King County Parks Grant.
MIHS tennis court resurfacing and lights, increasing playing time by 35%
MIHS fields including new turf and lights
Planning for a transition to electric vehicles and buses
Playground and classroom upgrades
Necessary maintenance upgrades to extend the life of our aging buildings (roofs, boilers, painting, etc.)
Technology
Technology staff & coaches at the schools
Classroom instructional tools including smartboards
1:1 iPads and transition to laptops at MIHS
Digital textbooks and software licenses
Internet infrastructure upgrades
Phone and security camera upgrades
